Wool Wraps

Wool is the natural, eco-friendly alternative to PUL (polyurethane laminate) wraps. If you've chosen cloth nappies because you don't want synthetic materials or chemicals next to your baby's skin, you may want to consider using wool. Wool is breathable, making an ideal cover for babies prone to nappy rash or for night-time wear, and is suitable for both summer and winter use. It can even be used as combined wrap and outer wear, with wool pants in warmer weather and cosy longies in the winter.

Wool is naturally water resistant because of the lanolin content. Contrary to popular belief, wool covers are not labour intensive and need less washing than ordinary wraps.They do require regular lanolinisation but this is simple to do.

Puddlepants wraps are funky designs made from recycled wool clothing. They come in 3 styles: longies, shorties and pull-up pants. A welcome change from plain wool.

Couche Covers are practical wraps using hook and loop fastenings for convenience. They come in plain and bold designs and are made from recycled blanket. These are some of our prettiest wraps.
